Western New York Seed Sales
A well-recognized seed company in the region is seeking a candidate to step into an established territory to maintain and grow their row crop seed sales in this Western Region of New York. This leading corn, soybean, and alfalfa seed company is seeking a candidate who is ready to take the next step in their career by working this territory, helping with key accounts, and helping continue to develop business across this region.
In this role the Seed Salesman will:
- Grow the sales in the region by working closely with the customers in your area, set goals and implement strategies to hit them
- Working closely with dealers and growers across this region to find new area to grow business
- Provide agronomic support to customers and manage the sales process
- Work to identify ways your products and services can grow their profitability
Expectations for this Seed Salesmen include:
- Manage the seed sales in their region
- Focus on the value of products and forecasting for future goals for sales
- Work to develop the best programs and marketing strategies
- Build and manage key account relationships
- Work closely with your other team members
- Keep on top of agronomic technologies and competitive products
- Ensure customer service and satisfaction
- Able to plan their day and execute the plan based on good business management skills
A qualified candidate will possess the following:
- Experience working for another seed company or selling seed for an Ag Retailer or independent seed company
- A desire to work a territory, work from home, and grow this business
- Prior sales experience and success direct to farmers or ag retailers/dealers
Compensation: The company will offer a competitive base salary, bonus, company vehicle, and other resources for success.

Location: Would prefer this role be home based in the Western half of New York State, Buffalo or Rochester would be great areas.
