Territory Sales Manager - Nebraska

Ag 1 Source is looking for a Territory Sales Manager for a territory in Nebraska. This position would be with an experienced plant health/ nutrition company to identify strategic accounts and drive direct sales in Nebraska.

What you will be doing:

  • Develop net revenue targets and life cycle management for the company's portfolio
  • Build demand for the company's products with influential distributors and growers
  • Utilize agronomic expertise and strategic sales experience to develop, grow and maintain the market
  • Work with technical teams to develop demo plat strategy, in-field teachings, training programs and agronomy meetings to educate internal and external partners
  • Prospect new clients and build relationships with distributors and growers

A successful candidate for this Territory Manager position will possess the following:

  • 10 years of Ag sales or field agronomy experience, managing and coaching individuals. Bachelor’s degree required
  • Must be able to sell, negotiate, and influence key accounts
  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture Science, Business, Marketing required, will consider other degrees with related field sales experience
  • Understand changing market dynamics (forecasting, product/marketing input)
  • An understanding of the key fertility and crop protection product offerings in the territory
  • This is a combination of sales and sound agronomy work, a successful candidate must have that blend of both skills
  • Ability to travel 50% time out of the territory
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to effectively operate collaboratively in a highly dynamic and informal environment

Compensation: A competitive compensation package is provided base salary and commissions

Desired Location: This position can be located in the state of Nebraska.
