Regional Agronomist

Ag 1 Source is looking for a regional agronomist to support Southern Minnesota sales team of this expanding seed and biologicals company. If you want to make a difference providing agronomic expertise, love providing seed and biologicals placement and seed and biologicals product knowledge information to growers and sellers, the Regional Agronomist role is for you!

What you will be doing:

• Providing technical agronomic support
• Assisting with development of the product portfolio
• Training the sales staff on products and placement
• Educating the customer base on how these products fit into their operation
• Working with retailers and dealers to enhance Sales Efforts
• Developing the product positioning and marketing strategies for the seed lineup

A successful candidate for this Regional Agronomist opportunity will possess the following:

• A good technical understanding of seed and seed placement
• Agronomically sound and familiar with biological products
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience in coaching and/or training others
• Highly organized with the ability to manage your activity throughout the region
