Production Farm Operation

Ag 1 Source is looking for a Production Farm Operations candidate to join our large-scale farming operation in Central Kansas.

What you will be doing:

• Assist in planning: Collaborate with the farm management team to develop and implement strategic plans for optimal farm productivity.
• Operational Oversight: Assist with day-to-day farming operations, including planting, harvesting, spraying and equipment maintenance.
• Resource Management: Efficiently manage resources, including personnel, equipment, and budget, to achieve production goals.
• Crop Management: Oversee crop health, monitor pest control measures, and implement sustainable farming practices.

A successful candidate for this Farm Operations position will possess the following:

• Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture or related field ideally.
• Proven Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
• Farming Experience: Substantial experience in large-scale farming operations, with a deep understanding of crop management, equipment and operations.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges and optimize farm performance.
• Excellent Communication: Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience, plus performance-based bonuses. Depending on experience the base salary can range from $75-over 100K.
