Marketing and Communications Manager

Ag 1 Source is looking for a Marketing and Communications Manager to oversee and implement strategies to engage Idaho consumers and industry partners on the importance of the state's robust beef cattle industry. What you will be doing:

• Work with the company's executive officer to identify key target audiences and create and annual marketing plan
• Develop and implement strategic marketing campaigns for both B2C and B2B audiences
• Create and manage budgets for marketing resources as well as track the ROI on funds invested in each campaign
• Oversee marketing material development and marketing campaign implementation
• Oversee and supervise the Business to Consumer (B2C) Marketing Specialist and the Business to Business (B2B) Marketing Specialist

A successful candidate for this marketing and communications director role will possess the following:

• Minimum of three years business to business (B2B) and business to consumer (B2C) marketing experience preferably with an agricultural entity funded with industry check-off dollars
• Ability to develop strategies and tactics to boost the organization's effectiveness and cost-efficiency including the use of database platforms to track progress
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, Business, or related business-related fields from an accredited college or university
• Excellent critical analytical skills and the ability to forecast and identify potential trends and challenges
• Knowledge of compliance-related requirements for communications, including social media
• Extensive knowledge and experience in marketing with the ability to manage a marketing budget
• Experience in beef or other food commodity association communications is preferred
• Ability to creatively approach tasks, such as building promotions, establishing professional relationships, and collecting and evaluating metrics and other information to support decision-making about marketing strategies
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and driven to work independently with a sense of pride and ownership in performance

Compensation: This organization offers a competitive salary depending upon experience but is targeting the $80,000-$90,000 range

Benefits: Excellent health benefits, basic life and disability benefits, 11.18% employer contribution to the Public Employee Retirement System of Idaho (PERSI) 25 days of vacation, 11 state holidays, and 12 sick days per calendar year. Compensation for travel will be provided according to travel policy.
