Grain Superintendent

A very successful grain elevator in West Tennessee is looking for a hard-working individual who either has some grain facility experience, or who has a strong ag background and is willing to learn. Hard work, great personality and ability to jump in, manage the trucks coming in, the lot employees and just do what needs to be done to keep the place in tip-top shape!

This role will be key in this facility and must be someone with a strong customer service mentality. Keeping the trucks moving and keeping the customers happy is key as well as maintaining a safe environment for everyone.

We are looking for someone to possess:

• Operations mindset with either some grain and/or grain elevator experience or just solid ag/farm background
• Ability to effectively lead a small group of dedicated employees
• Demonstrated commitment to an ingrained safety culture
• Proven work ethic
• Customer service mindset

What you will be doing:

• Managing a small team of devoted employees
• Manage the lot and make sure everything is moving smoothly
• Learn the ins-and-outs of a grain elevator
• Customer relations with the farmers and farm employees/trucks that come into the lot
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure things are done properly

Compensation: Depends on experience but looking in that $40-$60K base range

Desired Location: This is in a great little spot in West Tennessee, and you could really live in any of the surrounding areas such as Union City, Martin, Newbern, Trenton, etc.
