Grain Originator - Southern MN

Ag 1 Source is looking for a Grain Originator to help expand grain procurement. This person will report directly to the VP of the Grain Division, and work for a great client in southern Minnesota that has strong growth and expansion vision and strategy.

What you will be doing:

• Working closely with new VP of Grain, to grow-expand grain procurement for the entire company
• Grain origination for 6+ locations with 25M+ bu capacity, connected to leading rail lines allowing greater market access and higher margins
• Competing directly with two Ethanol plants and multiple other grain terminals in the region
• Expanding current book of business and implementation of growth and expansion new business development
• Developing key relationships with the largest growers in the region

A successful candidate for this Grain Originator role will possess the following:

• Successful proven performance in similar role and experience to use on the job
• Good understanding of grain marketing
• Proven ability to solicit grain from farmers by building a trust relationship
• Aggressive and confident, a quick thinker
• Solid communication skills
• 1 year or more of experience
• B.S. degree preferred

Compensation: Compensation for this role starts at $65,000 and will vary depending on experience and knowledge
