General Manager- Seed Division

Arkansas Valley Seed Company is looking for a General Manager to join our team and lead our operations in Denver, Colorado. What you will be doing:

• Operations Management: Oversee field staff, seed production, processing, bagging, warehousing, and shipping to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Financial Management: Lead financial planning, budgeting, and profitability initiatives while maintaining liquidity and financial health.
• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute strategic plans, pursue new business opportunities, and stay informed on industry trends.
• Team Development: Foster a collaborative culture, inspire the team, set measurable objectives, and support career growth.
• Sales & Marketing Management: Drive sales operations, develop marketing strategies, monitor performance metrics, and enhance brand positioning.

A successful candidate for this General Manager position will possess the following:

• Educational Background: Degree or diploma in agriculture, business, or a related field.
• Experience: Proven experience in a general management role, preferably within the agricultural or seed industry.
• Operational Expertise: Strong background in operations, finance, strategic planning, and business development.
• Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership with a focus on team building and inspiring performance.
• Financial Acumen: Proficient in financial management, including budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting.
• Sales Experience: Demonstrated success in guiding and supporting sales operations with a customer-centric approach.
• Agronomy Knowledge: Deep understanding of agronomy and its application in seed production.
• Analytical Skills: Capable of analyzing data and metrics to inform decision-making and adjust strategies.
• Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Outcome Focused: Driven to achieve tangible and measurable outcomes.

Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications, ranging from ranging from $140-165K.
