Field Agronomist
Ag 1 Source is looking for a Field Agronomist for a well-established leader in the vegetable seed production industry. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced agronomist to assist with production operations and field trials for new varietals.

What you will be doing:
- Monitor production fields for disease, insects, pests, and overall plant health
- Assist in conducting production research trials in various vegetable species
- Perform all production functions including planting, rogueing, crew management, data acquisition, and harvest
- Assist in the logistics of delivering high quality product to customers
A successful candidate for this Field Agronomist will possess the following:
- 1-5 years of production experience, preferably in the vegetable seed industry
- 4-Year Bachelor's degree, preferably in an agricultural field
- Advanced knowledge of plant nutrition, soil fertility, pest management and irrigation technology
- Ability to work long hours in an outdoor environment
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated and ability to use personal initiative to address work issues
