Feed Mill Plant Manager – Portales, NM

This opportunity is for a driven individual with leadership capabilities to oversee operations, safety, and production at a feed mill. This role will be responsible for:

• Leading all aspects of safety compliance, including training and documentation.
• Managing production schedules, goals, and personnel to meet company targets.
• Ensuring adherence to quality control standards and timely shipments.
• Overseeing inventory management, preventive maintenance, and warehouse efficiency.
• Fostering employee engagement, growth, and alignment with safety and food safety programs.

Expectations will include:

• Conducting regular safety training for employees and ensuring compliance with all regulations.
• Maintaining accurate records of inventory, production, and compliance activities.
• Identifying and implementing process improvements to boost operational efficiency.
• Developing and maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
• Performing physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 60 pounds and climbing 100-foot ladders.

A qualified candidate will possess the following:

• 2-3 years of feed mill experience (preferred).
• A college degree (a plus but not required).
• Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• Proven leadership capabilities with a passion for accountability and team success.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-focused mindset.
• A self-motivated attitude with a commitment to continuous improvement.

Compensation: 85,000+ base salary; depending on experience + bonus eligibility
