Dairy Business Account Sales Manager

A highly innovative dairy genetics and supply company is searching for a dynamic individual, with strong sales skills and a thorough knowledge of the dairy business, to fill the role of Dairy Business Account Sales Manager for North Texas. The perfect candidate will have a proven career to date track record of sourcing and developing new customers, maintaining existing customer relationships, achieving & exceeding sales objectives, and implementing new technology sales strategies within the assigned region of the US. This person will be strong in "on farm" dairy management, be able to communicate and be a solution driven provider for customers, work as a member of a larger team both with customers and internal company staff. Key Responsibilities for the Dairy Business Account Sales Manager

  • Meets or exceeds monthly and yearly revenue objectives within assigned region.
  • Builds a deep understanding of the customer's needs and responds in a way that creates respect and credibility. Serves as the main point of contact for the company in assigned accounts.
  • Sells the company's value of products, services to assigned customers by providing a solutions driven partnership meeting their needs.
  • Understands the value of the company's products, services, and pricing as well as competitive offerings and articulate company's benefits in a manner meaningful to a customer.
  • Develops, implements and drives account strategy plan - engaging customer at a strategic "business" level.
  • Works with internal customer service and other area reps to ensure first class client focus and service is provided.

A successful candidate for the Dairy Business Account Sales Manager will have:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college. (Dairy and Sales experience may be substituted)
  • At least 5 years of solid successful sales/closing skills/business development expertise in the progressive dairy industry.
  • Strong customer relations skills, organizational talents, as well as knowledge of the A.I., ET and Technology industry or overall genetics industry.
  • Must possess proven value added selling and marketing approach along with high level business communication and negotiation skills.
  • Must have proficient computer skills especially with email, Microsoft Office and dairy herd software. (Dairy Comp/Scout/PC Dart)
  • Be able to travel 50%+ of the time within the assigned region.

Compensation: Base salary plus commissions with potential 1st year total earnings guaranty.
