Ag 1 Source is looking for an early career agronomy industry professional to join our team in a remote work position!

The right individual will have a knowledge of the agronomy industry, solid work ethic, and integrity as a foundational value. This role is supporting our existing Agronomy Team as a Sourcing Recruiter, so in this role, you are NOT responsible for managing clients, just working hard to find top talent for the opportunities we are working with clients to fill. This role will focus on roles based primarily in the Eastern US, so perhaps your network is in the Southern US, or maybe you are more experienced in the Eastern Corn Belt, but as long as you've had agronomy sales experience in the Eastern US, that is the base experience we need. We are seeking someone with 2+ years of sales experience and who has shown great potential and success in their role today, but is striving for more.

While this role will start as an Agronomy Sourcing Recruiter, the career path and potential is there to advance to a full recruiter seat managing and obtaining new clients, which provides a higher income potential.

What you will be doing:

  • Build relationships across your market area with candidates, becoming a market master and knowing everyone in your geography that could ever be a fit for one of our clients.
  • Identify, recruit, and evaluate potential candidates for position openings
  • Negotiate terms of employment and assist to resolve any post-employment issues
  • Communicate through verbal, written, or other forms of communication
  • Share and discuss relevant market information with employees across your market area
  • Be a trusted strategic advisor
  • Other company responsibilities

A successful candidate for this role will possess the following:

  • Early career sales experience in the agronomy industry so you at least have a network to start with.
  • Strong communication skills including being a great questioner but also an exceptional listener.
  • Driven to accomplish your goals regardless of the situation

  • Entrepreneurial background or want to build something and control your potential earnings

  • Good ability to read people
