New Business Development - Fertilizer

Ag 1 Source is looking for a New Business Development person selling Fertilizer products to Fertilizer blenders and manufactures. This is a Business-to-Business role that does not involve calling on growers or retailers. Our client has established accounts but they are looking for a Leader that can Evaluate New Product offerings, Identify new markets, and Create Demand. Only apply if you have high confidence in yourself to achieve goals and be paid well for sales growth. This is a high commission sales role!

What you will be doing:

  • New business development focus identifying new markets for fertilizer products
  • Build greater partnerships with any current customers.
  • Maintain close relationship with marketing, technical sales support specialists, and customer service to ensure success.
  • Professionally represent the company brand at all times by adhering to the highest ethical standards.

A successful candidate for this New Business Development job will possess the following:

  • 5 years of PROVEN sales performance with solid understanding of crop fertility products.
  • Successful in Business-to-Business sales including Account Management and New Market development.
  • Creative Leader with the drive to investigate new markets, develop ideas, and share ideas and product value with customers

Compensation: Compensation includes a base salary of $75K to $85K plus the opportunity to earn up to 100% in commissions.

Benefits: The company provides a strong benefits plan with medical, etc.

Desired Location: The preferred location for the New Business Development position is Minneapolis Metro area.
