Chief Operations Officer-Nebraska
Ag 1 Source is looking for a mid-career individual with strong Ag Retail Operations experience to serve as COO to a large western Nebraska ag retailer. This is a well-established and growing company, and this role will be a key leader in the business and aid in their strategic growth across western Nebraska. Our preference would be someone with ag retail specific experience, but a leader with a working knowledge of agricultural operations will certainly be entertained.
What’s in it for you:

What you will be doing:
- Direct all operations working specifically with grain, agronomy, feed and energy.
- Oversee and work with managers at over 15 locations.
- Evaluate operational processes and infrastructure.
- Report directly to the CEO and work with the entire management team.
A successful candidate for this COO will possess the following:
- 10+ years’ experience in Ag Production and Ag Retail Operations.
- Exceptional capacity for problem solving.
- Prior leadership experience and employee relations skills.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Compensation: Will very much depend on level of experience, but not opposed to targeting $150K base for the right individual.
